CAP Assignment

Soccer Player for The US Women's National Team

One of my career goals does not relate to being a personal trainer, but it has been a goal of mine since I was a little girl. My dream has always been to play professional soccer. Being a professional soccer player is difficult to do, but it can happen. I am the type of person where I set goals for myself and I do not stop working until I reach them. I feel I can accomplish this goal if I keep working hard and give 110% in all my lifting, conditioning, and soccer practice.

Personal Trainer: College Soccer Team or at a Gym

College Soccer Team: I play soccer at IUPUI and we have a personal trainer/strength coach. We go train with him 3 days a week and we work on getting stronger and getting faster. We work with all muscles of the body and do both speed and agility and long distance running. Over the past 3 years training with him, I enjoy what he does and how he coaches. I want to do the same. I want to be a personal trainer for a team and see their progress throughout the whole season. I want to see them get stronger and faster. I want to form a team that no one wants to mess with.

At A Gym: When I am home in Granger, I go to a gym called Beacon. At Beacon, I see personal trainers everywhere. They are working with elders, young kids, middle aged adults, everyone. I do not have a preference for who I work with. All I want to see is my client reach success and fulfill their goal. Whether they want to lose weight, stay in shape, anything. I want them to be happy with who they are as a person and reach their ultimate objective.

College Soccer Coach

Coaching has always been part of my family. My dad was my soccer and basketball coach for many years of my career. Watching him coach, I knew I wanted to follow in his footsteps. Being a college soccer coach is top on my list. Being able to train skilled athletes and make them into even better players is something I want to do.
